Australian playwright and screenwriter Alex Broun partnered with Dubai theatre company, Tall Tales Productions, to produce this play written and set in the city of Dubai. Howzat, based on themes of “love, tolerance and humanity” ran from December 15 to 17, 2016 at The Junction in Al Serkal Avenue, Dubai. The production was directed by Priyanka Johri and starred Asad Raza Khan, Meghana Fareed, Vicky Koumoutsu and Deepak Venugopal. It returned for a second season in 2017.
