One of Alex’s most successful ten-minute plays, somewhere between the sky and the sea premiered at Short+Sweet Sydney 2008 at the Seymour Centre Downstairs, in a production directed by Alexandra Byron and starring Helen Sutermeister as Maddie, Maurizio Degliesposti as Ramon and Tabrett Bethell as Stephanie. It has since gone on to win Best Production at Short+Sweet Malaysia 2008 (pictured) and Short+Sweet Delhi 2011 and the People’s Choice Award for the audience’s favourite play at Short+Sweet Singapore 2008.
